This festive holiday sangria is the perfect centerpiece for any gathering you’re hosting this season. It blends pomegranate, orange, and pineapple juices for a bright, fruity base that feels both refreshing and celebratory. A splash of orange liqueur adds a warm, aromatic depth that pairs beautifully with winter flavors. Fresh orange slices and cranberries not only enhance the taste but also make the pitcher look stunning and seasonal. Serve it chilled, and you’ll have a crowd-pleasing drink that captures the spirit of the holidays in every sip.
The ornament drink dispenser is absolutely adorable and instantly brings a playful holiday charm to your setup. Its round, glossy design looks just like a giant Christmas tree ornament, making it a fun conversation starter your guests will love. Everyone will be delighted by how festive and unique it feels, especially when filled with a colorful holiday drink. Pairing it with a glass rimmed in vanilla frosting and coconut flakes makes the whole experience even more magical. The frosted rim looks like a cozy White Christmas, adding a soft, snowy touch to every sip. It’s not only delicious but also adds an elevated, boutique-style feel to your holiday hosting. Together, the ornament dispenser and the snowy-rimmed glass create an enchanting presentation your guests won’t forget.

Pomegranate juice is the star of this festive holiday sangria, giving it a rich, vibrant color and a perfectly balanced tart-sweet flavor. It adds depth to the drink and pairs beautifully with the citrus and tropical notes from the other juices. For the best taste, it’s worth trying PomWonderful, as its flavor is consistently bold, fresh, and smooth. Using a high-quality pomegranate juice like this really elevates the entire sangria, making every sip feel more special. If you want your holiday drink to stand out, choosing PomWonderful is an easy way to bring out the best flavors.

I usually use Pinot Noir as the red wine in my red wine sangrias because it’s light, smooth, and has a subtle sweetness that blends beautifully with fruity mixers. Its delicate flavor doesn’t overpower the other ingredients, allowing the juices and fresh fruit to really shine. Pinot Noir also adds a lovely, elegant richness without feeling too heavy. That said, sangria is incredibly customizable, so you can absolutely use whichever red wine you prefer. If you like something bolder, a Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot will work just as well. For a deeper, more robust flavor, a Rioja or Tempranillo can also be a great choice. Ultimately, the best wine for sangria is the one you enjoy drinking most.
Ingredients below are instructed to fill this Ornament Drink Dispenser which is 1.5 gallons/192 ounces.
Ingredients
4 Bottles of Pinot Noir
16 oz Oranges Juice
12 oz Pineapple Juice
12 oz Pomegranate Juice (I always use PomWonderful)
6 oz Orange Liqueur (you can use Triple Sec or Cointreau)
1 bottle of Prosecco
1-2 Oranges sliced into orange wheels
1 large cup or two of fresh cranberries
Vanilla Frosting (optional for rim of glass)
Coconut Flakes (optional for rim of glass)
Directions
- Depending on the drink dispenser you use, the size of it, etc – please follow these measuring instructions below and then continue to double the recipe as you go.
- In your drink dispenser add 1 bottle of Pinot Noir, 4 oz of Orange Juice, 3 oz of Pineapple Juice, 3 oz of Pomegranate Juice and 1.5 oz of Triple Sec. Repeat this step and then do a taste test. (For some, the triple sec may get too much so I suggest to stop using it here if you think it is too strong – or add a little more if you want more of that orange taste) This is your sangria, so follow your measuring heart!
- Continue to repeat the steps above, always doing a small taste test and adjusting to your liking.
- Once the drink dispenser is almost full, add in your oranges and cranberries.
- Cover your dispenser and put in the refrigerator for at least 3 -4 hours before serving. You can even let it sit overnight! Also, feel free to add any additional fruit or even some rosemary as well!
- When serving, (OPTIONAL) dip the rim of your glass into some vanilla frosting, then into some coconut flakes. (you can also coat the rim of your glass with an orange slice and dip in some sugar or whatever you’d like or leave it the way it is!)
- Add ice to your glass and fill it with your sangria. You can even top off with a bit of sparkling water if you like the fizz! If not enjoy as is and garnish with some fresh oranges and cranberries!
- Enjoy!
