Jack Frost Cocktail – Easy Frosty Blue Christmas Cocktail
There is just something about a pretty Christmas cocktail that makes the holiday season even more fun! And this Jack Frost Cocktail might be one of the prettiest holiday drinks to serve. Between its gorgeous icy blue color, creamy texture, and festive snowy topping, it looks like a little winter wonderland in a glass!
I absolutely love creating Christmas cocktails that look beautiful but are also super easy to make. Whether you’re hosting a holiday party, having a Christmas movie night, or just enjoying an evening at home with all the Christmas lights on, this one is such a fun drink to make.
Made with white rum, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and a splash of milk, this cocktail is fruity, tropical, and just a little creamy. And my favorite part? The pomegranate seeds and powdered sugar sprinkled over the top give it that adorable frosty Christmas look!
If you love pretty Christmas cocktails as much as I do, you should also try my Snowy Coconut Christmas Punch or my Rudolph’s Cranberry Pineapple Rum Punch. Both are perfect for holiday entertaining!
The Prettiest Blue Christmas Cocktail
When I think about Christmas cocktails, I usually think of cranberry red drinks, creamy white martinis, and peppermint-inspired recipes. But I wanted something a little different, and this gorgeous frosty blue cocktail is exactly that!
The blue curaçao gives this drink its beautiful wintery color, while the pineapple juice brings a delicious tropical sweetness. The milk adds a creamy finish that softens the bright blue into a pretty icy shade.
And of course, we have to make it look festive!
I love adding a few bright red pomegranate seeds right on top and finishing everything with a light dusting of powdered sugar. The red against the icy blue is so pretty, and the powdered sugar gives it that freshly fallen snow effect.
It’s such a simple finishing touch, but it makes the cocktail feel extra special for Christmas.
What Does a Jack Frost Cocktail Taste Like?
This Jack Frost Cocktail is sweet, fruity, creamy, and refreshing.
The white rum has a smooth flavor that pairs perfectly with the tropical pineapple juice. Blue curaçao adds a sweet orange flavor, while the milk gives the cocktail a softer, creamier finish.
It almost reminds me of a tropical vacation mixed with a snowy Christmas morning!
The best part is that you only need four main ingredients, plus a couple of festive garnishes, to create something that looks like it came straight from a holiday cocktail party.
A Fun Cocktail for Christmas Parties
I love serving drinks that get people excited the second they see them, and this is definitely one of those cocktails!
The beautiful blue color makes it stand out on a Christmas drink table, especially surrounded by fresh greenery, twinkling white lights, and pretty holiday glassware.
You could serve these for a Christmas Eve gathering, a holiday girls’ night, or even a winter-themed party.

How to Get That Beautiful Frosty Christmas Look
This is probably my favorite part of the entire recipe!
Once your cocktail is shaken and poured into your glass, sprinkle a few fresh pomegranate seeds over the top.
The bright red seeds give the drink a beautiful pop of Christmas color.
Then lightly dust the top with powdered sugar to give it that snowy, frosted appearance.
I recommend adding the powdered sugar right before serving because it will naturally dissolve into the drink after a little while.
You don’t need a lot of decorations or complicated garnishes. The blue cocktail, red pomegranate seeds, and little snowy finish are beautiful all on their own!
Can You Make a Jack Frost Cocktail Ahead of Time?
For the prettiest presentation, I recommend making this cocktail fresh.
Because the recipe contains milk and pineapple juice, shaking everything together right before serving helps create a smooth, well-chilled cocktail.
You can absolutely measure out your ingredients ahead of time and keep everything cold in the refrigerator.
Then, when you’re ready to serve, simply shake everything with ice, pour into your glass, and add your Christmas garnishes.
One little tip: Use cold milk and pineapple juice, and shake everything really well. The acidity in pineapple juice can sometimes cause dairy to separate slightly, so fresh mixing gives you the best result.
A Little Winter Wonderland in a Glass
I think what I love most about this Jack Frost Cocktail is how simple it is to make something that looks so festive.
You don’t need a long list of ingredients or anything complicated. Just a few delicious ingredients, a pretty cocktail glass, and a couple of Christmas-inspired garnishes.
It’s tropical, creamy, refreshing, and such a fun change from the traditional red and green holiday cocktails.
So turn on your favorite Christmas music, light those cozy holiday candles, and mix yourself a beautiful Jack Frost Cocktail!
Cheers to making the Christmas season a little more magical, one cocktail at a time!
