What Is In A Painkiller Cocktail?
Dark Rum – make sure to get yourself a good high quality dark rum, as this is your main alcoholic ingredient in this drink, and you sure don’t want to be sipping on something cheap! You don’t have to break the bank, but definitely don’t go for the non name brands!
Pineapple Juice – The delicious flavors of Pineapple Juice truly make this cocktail! You will taste even a little bit of a Pina Colada taste in this drink!
Orange Juice – Don’t go too heavy on this juice, but make sure you have enough in there to truly get that citrusy flavor in this tropical drink!
Coconut Milk – This is going to bring this drink to the next level, giving it that Caribbean vibe just like a Pina Colada
Nutmeg – This is solely for the Garnish on top, so if you are not a Nutmeg fan, then you can leave this off! Completely up to you!

Coconut Cream Or Coconut Milk?
You can use either coconut cream or coconut milk to make a this Painkiller Cocktail. You can even use coconut water if you don’t want the creamy texture. However, using coconut water will change the taste a bit, as it may not be as flavorful! The main difference between the cream and milk will be the texture. Coconut Cream has more of a frosting pasty texture to it and the milk is more smooth, just like a regular milk or half and half.
