A Red Sangria is definitely one of the most perfect drinks to enjoy with friends. It doesn’t matter if it’s Summer, Fall, Spring or Winter. This drink can be enjoyed all year long. I particularly like this easy Red Sangria for the winter months, as it has some seasonal fruits and spices in it to make it the perfect ‘Winter Sangria’.
I love a good White Sangria or even a Rose Sangria, however, this easy Red Sangria recipe is one of the most delicious ones to date! It’s filled with different fruit flavors, delicious citrusy juices and a warm and crisp brandy to finish off the touch. Brandy is ALWAYS optional in any Sangria recipe, but if you’ve never tried it, I beg for you to as it will change your mind for good!
Easy Red Sangria Recipe Ingredients:
RED WINE – I always love to choose a fruitful red wine when making my Sangrias. I love to go with a tasty Pinot Noir. It does not have to be expensive as you will be diluting the wine with so many other flavors!
PINEAPPLE JUICE – Any canned pineapple juice will work just fine with this!
ORANGE JUICE – You can be bold and make your own Orange Juice, however if you don’t want to go that route then any carton or bottled orange juice will work just fine!
AGAVE – Agave is a great way to sweeten up any drink without all that added nonsense! You can get this at any local grocery store!
BRANDY – Brandy is always optional when coming to a Red Sangria recipe, but if you choose this option, then make sure to use a high quality brand. This is a key ingredient and you don’t want to cheap out on this one!
FRUIT – Blood Oranges, Blackberries and Red Grapes
ROSEMARY – Fresh Rosemary Figs are a game changer in this recipe!
SPARKLING WATER – Adding this to this easy red sangria recipe will make this crisp and refreshing!

How To Make This Easy Red Sangria Recipe
First prep your fruit! I like to slice the blood oranges with a mandoline slicer. However you can slice them any way you’d like! I cut the grapes right in half. Make sure when shopping for the red grapes, you buy seedless ones if possible! The Blackberries can just be tossed right in! Add all this fruit plus your rosemary sprigs to a large pitcher.
Next add in your Red Wine.
Add your orange juice, pineapple juice, and brandy to the pitcher. Please note *** the exact measurements are listed below in the recipe card. Follow exact measurements and just keep doubling or tripling the recipe for however large your pitcher may be!
CHILL IN FRIDGE – This step is HUGE when making a Red Sangria. Or any Sangria for that matter! Do not skimp on this time. I suggest chilling your Sangria in the refrigerator over night! This will give your drink ample time to infuse with all the delicious flavors of the fruit and rosemary. However, if you are making this in a pinch, still try and make it at least two to three hours prior to your event so it still has time to chill.

Sparkling Water
This is a key ingredient to a refreshing Sangria! I suggest adding ice to your Sangria Glass, pouring your Sangria about 3/4 of the way up the glass and then topping the rest off with Sparkling Water!
