What Is BlackBerry Simple Syrup?
Blackberry Simple Syrup is a homemade blackberry flavored syrup that can be used in many different cocktails or in any dessert you’d like. With just 3 ingredients you can make this syrup at home and within minutes. All you need for this is equal parts of water, sugar and blackberries. I like to use 1 cup of water, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 cup of fresh blackberries. Boil all contents together until blackberries become mushy. Take off the heat and let cool for about 5-10 minutes. Then using a strainer, pour all contents from the pot into a strainer and into a glass container. Store in the fridge with a cover. This will last in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 weeks.
