What Is The Best Vodka To Use?
There are so many different great brands of Vodka on the market. For a Moscow Mule, you want a brand that is known for their high quality as well as one that is smooth tasting. Moscow Mules are known for being smooth and refreshing. Something that you can drink down without ever noticing any bite. Although there are high premium Vodkas out there, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are smooth tasting as well. Some of the Vodka’s that I would recommend are:
Titos
Grey Goose
Kettle One
Chopin
What Kind Of Gin Should I Use?
If you are more of a Gin drink than a Vodka one, then you can absolutely use Gin in a Moscow Mule. Gin is known for its premium quality and extra smoothness when sipping on a cocktail. Using Gin in a cocktail like this will make the experience extra special because it will guarantee a smooth quality drink. If you prefer Gin over Vodka then I suggest using one of these.
Hendricks
Tanqueray
Bombay Sapphire
Beefeater

What Is Simple Syrup?
Simple syrup is an easy simple concoction used in many cocktails, mocktails and desserts to add some sweetness to them. It is super easy to make right from your own home. Just add equal parts of water and sugar to a pot on your stove. I like to start with 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Bring to a boil until the sugar completely dissolves. Take off the heat and let your syrup cool. Pour all contents into a glass container and store in the refrigerator. This will last about 3 weeks!
