Perfect Game Day Appetizer shaped like a football! This appetizer can be made for any occasion, but it’s so cute set up and placed like a football!

Ingredients
2 Pizza Dough Rolls. (Or you can use Crescent Rolls as well)
Any cheese you’d like (I used Gouda – 1 large packet)
1 Egg
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 Garlic Cloves
Handful of Parsley
Marinara sauce for dipping
Directions
- Chop up your cheese into small cubes.
- Pop open your pizza dough or crescent rolls.
- Tear off a small amount and flatten out in your hand. Add a piece of cheese to the center and roll up in a ball. Repeat this step until all items are used up.
- Place the rolled up balls in the shape of a football or just places next to each other on parchment paper on a baking sheet.
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- Brush your rolls with some egg wash.
- Bake your rolls for 20 minutes or until golden brown
- While your rolls are baking, make your garlic cheese sauce.
- In a bowl, melt your butter. Then add in your parmesan cheese, minced garlic and chopped parsley. Mix around thoroughly
- When your rolls are done baking take them out of the oven. You can leave them on the baking sheet or carefully transfer them to a serving dish (after they cool for about 5 minutes)
- Pour your butter garlic cheese sauce over the top
- Serve with a side of marinara sauce
- Enjoy!
