
Ingredients
1 Roll of Puff Pastry
8- 10 mini Brie bites or 1 large Brie
Any Fig flavored jam you like – 1 container
1 egg for brushing over the bites
Pretzel sticks (for the pumpkin stem)
Directions
- On a cutting board lay out your puff pastry
- Slice up into squares (big enough to fit the mini brie bites and or chunks of brie)
- Spread a thin layer of fig jam on each piece
- Then place the mini brie bites OR cut up chunks of brie
- Fold each corner over (see video above) and form a small ball
- Lay out four long strands of cooking string crossing each one over diagonally (see video above for reference)
- Tie each piece of string tight enough to make a small indent in the puff pastry.
- Secure each piece of string. You can tie them in a loop and cut off any access string
- Flip them over and brush with egg wash
- Bake in the at 425 for about 15-20 minutes or until the puff pastry turns a golden brown
- Take them out and let them cool just slightly so you can touch them
- Carefully cut off the pieces of string
- Stick a pretzel stick in the middle
- Enjoy!
