Salted Pumpkin Mocha Espresso Punch
If there is one thing I absolutely love, it’s fall entertaining. The minute the weather starts to cool down, I’m ready for cozy dinners, football Sundays, Halloween parties, girls’ nights, and pretty much any excuse to have people over. And of course, if I’m hosting, there is going to be a good cocktail involved! Some of my favorites this time of year are my Brown Sugar RumChata Espresso Punch, Pumpkin Spice White Russian Punch, and Fall Pear Vodka Punch, but this Salted Pumpkin Mocha Espresso Punch might be one of my new favorites.
I’ve always loved making batched cocktails for a crowd because they make entertaining SO much easier. I would much rather make one big, delicious drink before everyone arrives than spend the entire night standing in my kitchen shaking individual cocktails. I want to actually sit down, eat, drink, talk, and enjoy everyone!
And this Salted Pumpkin Mocha Espresso Punch is basically everything I love about fall in one big drink dispenser.
It’s creamy, chocolatey, pumpkin-y, full of espresso flavor, and finished with just enough salt to balance out the sweetness. It reminds me of a really good fall coffeehouse drink—but with a boozy twist that makes it perfect for entertaining.

My Kind of Fall Cocktail
I have to admit, fall might be my favorite season for creating cocktails. There are just so many flavors to play around with—pumpkin, cinnamon, apple cider, maple, caramel, espresso, vanilla… I could keep going.
If you love those cozy flavors too, definitely take a look at my Caramel Apple Cider Martini and Brown Sugar Espresso Martini. Those are both single-serve cocktails and are perfect when you’re making drinks for just a few people.
But when I’m having a bigger group over, I almost always lean toward a punch.
My Creamy Pumpkin Chai Latte Punch is another one I love for fall, especially if you’re a pumpkin-and-spice person. And if you love creamy cocktails, my Cinnamon Roll RumChata Punch is basically dessert in a glass.
This Salted Pumpkin Mocha Espresso Punch falls right into that same category. It’s rich and cozy without feeling like you’re just drinking a glass of dessert.
Why I Love Making Cocktails for a Crowd
One thing I’ve learned from entertaining over the years is that the more you can do ahead of time, the better.
I love having people over, but I don’t love feeling like I’m working the entire time they’re at my house. That’s why you’ll see so many easy batched cocktail recipes on my site.
I can make the punch ahead of time, get my glasses and garnishes ready, put out some appetizers, light a few candles, and actually enjoy the night.
And honestly, a pretty drink dispenser filled with a fall cocktail is part of the decor as far as I’m concerned!

What Does Salted Pumpkin Mocha Espresso Punch Taste Like?
Think pumpkin spice latte meets mocha meets espresso martini.
You get that cozy pumpkin flavor first, followed by chocolate and coffee, with a creamy finish and a little hint of salt that keeps everything from becoming overly sweet.
I LOVE adding a touch of salt to sweeter coffee cocktails. It sounds like such a small thing, but it makes a huge difference. The salt brings out the chocolate and espresso flavors and balances the sweetness at the same time.
If you’re already a fan of my Oatmeal Cookie Martini, Pumpkin Spice White Russian Punch, or Brown Sugar RumChata Espresso Punch, this is definitely in that same cozy-dessert-cocktail family.
Perfect for Fall Parties
This is exactly the type of drink I would make for a fall girls’ night or Halloween party.
It’s also perfect for Thanksgiving because you can make a big batch instead of worrying about having a full bar set up for everyone.
I like serving it in a pretty glass drink dispenser and setting out glasses next to it so everyone can help themselves. Add a few little pumpkins, some candles, maybe a simple fall arrangement, and the whole setup looks like you put WAY more effort into it than you actually did.
Those are my favorite kinds of entertaining ideas.
And if I’m serving this for a party, I’m absolutely putting out something to eat with it. A cozy fall spread with my Pumpkin Brie Bites for a Halloween party would be so fun, or you could go more savory with appetizers before dinner. For a fall dinner party, something warm like my Creamy Roasted Tuscan Soup would also be such a good way to start the night.
A Great Alternative to Individual Espresso Martinis
I love an espresso martini. I don’t love making twelve espresso martinis while everyone else is having fun.
That’s exactly why I started making more of my espresso cocktails in batches.
You get all those flavors everyone loves—the coffee, creamy sweetness, vodka, and seasonal flavors—but everything is already mixed and ready to pour.
My Brown Sugar Espresso Martini is still one of my favorites when I’m only making one or two drinks, but if you’re hosting a crowd, this punch is SO much easier.
It’s also a fun option for a fall brunch. Coffee cocktail at brunch? Absolutely.

Make It Ahead for Easy Entertaining
Another reason I love this Salted Pumpkin Mocha Espresso Punch is that most of the work can be done before your guests arrive.
I actually prefer letting a batched cocktail chill before serving because everything gets really cold without having to load the dispenser with a ton of ice right away.
Then, right before everyone arrives, I give everything a good stir, add whatever finishing touches I’m using, set out the glasses, and I’m done.
That means I can move on to the important things—finishing the food, cleaning the kitchen for the tenth time, lighting my candles, and inevitably moving something around on the counter that was perfectly fine where it was five minutes earlier.
If you entertain, you know.
More Fall Cocktails I Love
Once I start making fall drinks, I seriously can’t stop. There are too many good combinations!
For another big-batch option, try my Pumpkin Chai Punch or Spiced Orange Vanilla Punch.
I love having a mix of both on my site because sometimes you’re having two people over… and sometimes you’re having fifteen!
The Ultimate Cozy Fall Party Punch
This Salted Pumpkin Mocha Espresso Punch really combines so many of my favorite things—fall, coffee, chocolate, pumpkin, and entertaining.
It’s creamy and indulgent, but the espresso and little touch of salt keep the flavors balanced. And most importantly for me, it’s easy to make for a crowd.
Because as much as I love making cocktails, when I have people over I want to be sitting around the table enjoying them—not stuck behind the counter playing bartender all night.
So whether you’re planning a Halloween party, Thanksgiving, fall brunch, girls’ night, football Sunday, or just having friends over on a chilly Saturday night, this is such a fun fall cocktail for a crowd to add to the menu.
And if you’re anything like me, once you start making big-batch cocktails for parties, you’ll wonder why you ever made everyone individual drinks in the first place.

Ingredients
3 cups vodka
1 1/2 cups Kahlua
2 cups chilled espresso
1 cup Pumpkin Spice Syrup
1 cup chocolate syrup
2 cups half and half
1/4 tsp fin sea salt
Ice
Whipped cream for serving
Chocolate shavings or light dusting of cocoa powder for garnishing
Directions
- Add the vodka, Kahlúa, chilled espresso, Pumpkin Reàl, chocolate syrup, half-and-half, and sea salt to a large pitcher or drink dispenser.
- Stir everything really well until the pumpkin and chocolate are completely incorporated.
Refrigerate until you’re ready to serve. I like to make this a little ahead of time so everything has a chance to get really cold. - Right before serving, give the punch another really good stir.
Serve over ice and, if you want to dress the glasses up a little, top each one with whipped cream and chocolate shavings or a very light dusting of cocoa powder. - Enjoy!
