This Limoncello Spritz is one you HAVE to try this Summer! It’s filled with such a wonderful flavor and topped off with the light crisp of Prosecco as well as the extra bubbles from Sparkling Water! It’s not only refreshing and delicious, but SO easy to make! In my opinion, all Limoncello recipes are tasty and refreshing, but this one in particular is definitely my favorite! And we all know you can’t go wrong with a Lemon Drink in the Summer time!
What Is In A Limoncello Spritz?
This Limoncello recipe only requires THREE ingredients! That’s it! Just simply your favorite Limoncello – This can either be store bought or home made. Of course home made Limoncello will always be best in any lemon drink, but store bought will also work just fine! Then your favorite Prosecco, along with Sparkling Water! Combining these three ingredients makes for the most perfect Summer Spritz!

What Is Limoncello?
Limoncello is a sweet, fresh and slightly bitter Lemon Liqueur that has originated in Southern Italy. It has been a very popular after dinner drink that has come from the South of Italy and made its way over here over the years. Traditionally, it is served chilled in a small after dinner drink glass to cleanse the pallet and leave a refreshing taste!
What Kind Of Limoncello Should I Use?
That’s a great question! I always love a good home made Limoncello, but obviously not all of us have access to that, nor do we all have time to make our own! So, if you don’t have your own at home, then buying from the store is perfectly fine to do so in this Limoncello recipe! Most liquor stores have great brands of Limoncello they sell, but my favorites are Pallini and Il Tramonto. However, you can choose whichever brand you think is best!

Which Prosecco Should I Use For This Limoncello Recipe?
The best part about Prosecco, is that you can get a great tasting bottle without breaking the bank! For this specific Limoncello recipe, I used La Marca Prosecco which has always been one of my favorites. However, you can use any Prosecco that you love in this recipe!
