Pear and Rosemary Gin Fizz – Easy Fall Gin Cocktail

There is something about a pretty fall cocktail that makes even a simple night at home feel a little special. I love all the cozy apple, cranberry, and pumpkin drinks this time of year, but sometimes I want something a little lighter and more refreshing. That’s exactly why I love this Pear and Rosemary Gin Fizz!

If you’ve been following along with my fall cocktail recipes, you already know how much I love incorporating seasonal flavors into my drinks. My Fall Pear Vodka Punch is always a great choice for entertaining, and my Spiced Pear and Cranberry Vodka Punch is another favorite for larger gatherings. But when I’m in the mood for a single-serve cocktail, this pear gin fizz is such a beautiful option.

Made with gin, sweet pear nectar, fresh lemon juice, honey syrup, and rosemary, then finished with bubbly club soda, this cocktail is light, refreshing, slightly sweet, and filled with those beautiful fall flavors.

Why You’ll Love This Pear and Rosemary Gin Fizz

One of my favorite things about this cocktail is how simple it is to make while still looking like something you’d order at a beautiful little cocktail bar.

The pear nectar adds just the right amount of sweetness, while the lemon juice brightens everything up. Fresh rosemary brings in a subtle herbal flavor that pairs so nicely with the gin, and the club soda gives it that light, bubbly finish.

It’s also one of those cocktails that works for so many occasions. Whether you’re hosting a fall dinner party, having friends over for appetizers, planning a Thanksgiving cocktail menu, or just enjoying a relaxing Friday evening, this is such an easy drink to put together.

And let’s talk about how pretty it looks! A fresh pear slice and a little rosemary garnish make this cocktail look incredibly elegant without having to do anything complicated.

A Refreshing Fall Cocktail With Pear and Rosemary

When we think about fall cocktails, we usually think of apple cider, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and all those warm, cozy flavors. And don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love those!

But pears are another delicious fall ingredient that I think deserves a little more attention.

Pear nectar has a naturally smooth, mellow sweetness that pairs beautifully with the botanical flavors of gin. Add a little rosemary and fresh lemon, and you have a cocktail that tastes both fresh and seasonal.

What I especially love is that this drink isn’t overly sweet or heavy. It has a nice balance of fruity, citrusy, and herbal flavors, making it a great option when you’re serving richer fall appetizers or a big holiday dinner.

If you love fruity gin cocktails, you should also try my Blackberry Gin Fizz Cocktail. It’s another beautiful, refreshing cocktail that’s perfect for entertaining.

Tips for Making the Best Pear Gin Fizz

Use a good-quality pear nectar. Since pear is the main flavor in this cocktail, you want something that has a delicious, natural pear taste. Pear nectar also gives the drink that lovely, slightly silky texture.

Don’t overdo the rosemary. Fresh rosemary has a pretty strong flavor, so a little goes a long way. You want that subtle herbal flavor without overpowering the pear and lemon.

Always use fresh lemon juice. It makes such a difference in cocktails, especially when you’re working with sweeter ingredients like pear nectar and honey.

Add the club soda last. This keeps the cocktail nice and bubbly. I also like making sure my club soda is really cold before adding it.

Make the garnish pretty! A thin slice of fresh pear and a sprig of rosemary are really all you need. It’s simple, elegant, and perfect for fall.

Can You Make a Pear and Rosemary Gin Fizz Ahead of Time?

Yes, you can absolutely prepare part of this cocktail ahead of time, which is especially helpful if you’re entertaining.

I recommend combining the gin, pear nectar, lemon juice, and honey syrup ahead of time and keeping the mixture chilled in the refrigerator.

When you’re ready to serve, gently muddle the rosemary with a little of the mixture, shake everything with ice, and strain it into your cocktail glass. Finish with club soda and your garnishes.

I wouldn’t add the club soda until right before serving because you want to keep all those delicious bubbles!

What to Serve With a Pear and Rosemary Gin Fizz

I love serving lighter cocktails like this with a few delicious appetizers when friends come over.

A simple cheese board with crackers, fresh fruit, nuts, and a few different cheeses would pair beautifully with the pear and rosemary flavors.

It’s also a great cocktail for Thanksgiving appetizers, fall bridal showers, Friendsgiving celebrations, or even a cozy evening by the fire.

And if you’re putting together a fall cocktail menu, consider serving this alongside my Caramel Apple Cider Sangria. Having both a light gin cocktail and a delicious fall sangria gives everyone a couple of fun seasonal options.

The Perfect Easy Fall Gin Cocktail

If you’re looking for a fall cocktail that’s beautiful, refreshing, and a little different from the usual apple cider drinks, you have to give this Pear and Rosemary Gin Fizz a try.

I love how the sweet pear, fresh rosemary, and bright lemon come together with the gin, and the bubbly finish makes it feel extra special.

It’s easy enough to make for yourself on a quiet evening but pretty enough to serve at your next fall gathering.

And honestly, sometimes the simplest cocktails end up being the ones everyone loves the most!
