What Is A Paloma Cocktail?
A classic Paloma cocktail consists of tequila, lime juice and grapefruit soda or juice. It is refreshing, crisp, light and super easy to make! This particular recipe has a few more ingredients that bring out so many different flavors your tastebuds will be exploding! Here is what’s in a Watermelon Paloma Cocktail:
TEQUILA – make sure to use a high quality tequila as that will ensure your cocktail tastes the best it can be! You don’t have to break the bank with a good quality brand, just make sure you don’t go for the cheapest! I love – Patron, Casamigos and Espolon!
FRESHLY SQUEEZED LIME JUICE – Always, and I mean ALWAYS use freshly squeezed lime juice when making any cocktail or mocktail!
GRAPEFRUIT JUICE – SPARKLING OR STILL – It is solely your choice whether you want bubbles in this or not! I usually prefer regular grapefruit juice but I also enjoy the sparkling one as well!
AGAVE – There are many different types and brands of Agave sold in all your local grocery stores. Any brand is just fine to use!
FRESH WATERMELON – Fresh watermelon is the way to go here. Just add a bit of water and your watermelon to a blender, blend till smooth and strain to get out any extra chunks. If you don’t have watermelon or just want a simpler version, then you can get watermelon juice and that will work just fine!

What could you use instead of agave?
Hi! You don’t have to use the agave. It’s just sweetens the drink a tiny bit, but will still be delicious without it!
