Caramel Apple Cider Sangria & Pumpkin Spice RumChata Punch: The Ultimate Fall Cocktail Duo

There is something about fall entertaining that makes me want to bring out all the cozy flavors. Apple cider, caramel, pumpkin spice, cinnamon — give me all of it! And when I’m hosting, I’m always looking for drinks that I can make ahead of time instead of standing behind the counter mixing individual cocktails all night.
That’s why these two fall batched cocktails are such a perfect combination for your next party: my Caramel Apple Cider Sangria and Pumpkin Spice RumChata Punch.
They’re completely different from each other, but that’s exactly why I love serving them together. The caramel apple cider sangria is fruity, crisp and filled with those classic apple orchard flavors, while the pumpkin spice RumChata punch is creamy, sweet and basically tastes like fall dessert in a glass.
If you’re planning a Halloween party, Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving dinner, football Sunday or just having friends over on a chilly fall weekend, this is such a fun little cocktail duo to set out.
Two Easy Fall Cocktails for a Crowd
One of my biggest tips when entertaining is to make at least one batched cocktail recipe ahead of time — and if you’re expecting a bigger crowd, make two!
Not everyone likes the same type of drink, so having one refreshing option and one creamy option gives your guests a choice without creating more work for you.
For this fall cocktail bar, I would serve:
Caramel Apple Cider Sangria
A sweet and fruity fall sangria filled with apple cider, caramel flavor and fresh fall fruit.
Pumpkin Spice RumChata Punch
A creamy pumpkin cocktail made with RumChata and warm pumpkin spice flavors that tastes like a grown-up fall dessert.
Set both drinks out in pretty glass dispensers or pitchers, add a stack of glasses, garnishes and a small bowl of ice nearby, and let everyone serve themselves.
Caramel Apple Cider Sangria

My Caramel Apple Cider Sangria is one of those drinks that immediately feels like fall.
It has everything I want in an autumn cocktail — fresh apple flavor, sweet caramel notes and apple cider — all combined into an easy sangria that you can make ahead of your party.
I especially love serving this one during September, October and November because it works for just about every fall occasion.
Add sliced apples and oranges or other seasonal fruit right into the pitcher or dispenser so it looks just as pretty as it tastes.
One little hosting tip: make the sangria a few hours ahead and let the fruit sit in the mixture in the refrigerator. It gives all of those flavors time to come together.
Pumpkin Spice RumChata Punch

Then we have the complete opposite side of the fall cocktail spectrum — my Pumpkin Spice RumChata Punch.
If you love creamy dessert cocktails, this one is for you.
RumChata already has that delicious creamy cinnamon flavor, and once you add pumpkin spice flavors, it turns into the ultimate cozy fall party drink.
This is the cocktail I would bring out after dinner or serve alongside a dessert table. It would be amazing with pumpkin pie, apple crisp, snickerdoodle cookies or anything with cinnamon and caramel.
Serve it chilled over ice and sprinkle a tiny bit of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice over each individual glass right before serving.
Create a Fall Cocktail Station
If you’re serving both recipes at a party, turn them into their own little fall cocktail station.
Place your Caramel Apple Cider Sangria on one side and the Pumpkin Spice RumChata Punch on the other. Add cocktail napkins, ice, glasses and a few simple garnishes in between.
For the sangria, you can offer apple slices, cinnamon sticks or orange slices.
For the RumChata punch, add cinnamon sticks or a small dish of pumpkin pie spice guests can sprinkle over their drinks.
A few mini pumpkins, fall leaves and candles around the drink station make everything look beautiful without going overboard.
It’s such an easy way to make a regular party table feel a little more special.
Perfect for Thanksgiving and Fall Parties
These are also great Thanksgiving cocktails for a crowd because you can prepare most of the work before everyone arrives.
And that is always my goal when I’m hosting.
I want the food ready, the drinks ready and everything set out so I can actually enjoy the party instead of spending the entire night making drinks.
The apple sangria works beautifully during appetizers and dinner, while the pumpkin spice RumChata punch is perfect when everyone starts reaching for dessert.
You could even make little signs for each drink so guests know exactly what they’re choosing.
Which Fall Cocktail Should You Make?
I say make both!
If you prefer something fruity, crisp and refreshing, start with the Caramel Apple Cider Sangria.
If creamy, sweet and pumpkin-spiced drinks are more your thing, you’ll probably fall in love with the Pumpkin Spice RumChata Punch.
And if you’re hosting a crowd, serving both gives your guests the best of both worlds.
Two easy fall batched cocktails, two totally different flavors and one very happy fall party.
Save these recipes for your next Halloween party, Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving celebration or cozy night entertaining friends. This is one fall cocktail duo I know I’ll be making all season long.
