North Pole Peppermint Vanilla Chai Punch

If there is one thing I absolutely love about the holiday season, it’s making creamy, delicious cocktails that are perfect for sharing with family and friends! And this North Pole Peppermint Vanilla Chai Punch is definitely one you’ll want to add to your holiday cocktail list.

It’s rich, creamy, perfectly sweet, and filled with the most delicious combination of peppermint, vanilla, and warm chai spices. Think of your favorite cozy chai latte, but with a festive peppermint twist and a little something extra!

And of course, you know how much I love a good batched cocktail! Especially around the holidays when the last thing I want to do is spend the entire evening making individual drinks.

If you love creamy holiday cocktails as much as I do, you’ll also want to try my North Pole White Chocolate RumChata Punch, RumChata Christmas Cheesecake Punch, and Candy Cane White Chocolate Punch. They’re all so delicious and perfect for Christmas entertaining!

The Perfect Creamy Christmas Punch

There is just something about peppermint and vanilla together that instantly reminds me of Christmas.

For this recipe, I’m combining vanilla vodka, Peppermint Bark RumChata, Baileys Irish Cream, chilled chai latte, and a little milk to create the most delicious creamy holiday cocktail.

The chai adds those cozy cinnamon and warm spice flavors, while the peppermint gives it that festive Christmas touch. The Baileys and RumChata make everything extra creamy, and the vanilla vodka brings all those delicious flavors together.

It’s almost like a peppermint chai latte meets a Christmas dessert cocktail!

And the best part? Everything gets poured into one large pitcher or drink dispenser, mixed together, and refrigerated until you’re ready to serve.

It really doesn’t get much easier than that!

Why You’ll Love This Peppermint Vanilla Chai Punch

This is one of those recipes that feels a little fancy but takes practically no effort to make.

I especially love that you can prepare it ahead of time, which makes hosting so much easier.

Whether you’re having family over for Thanksgiving, hosting Christmas Eve, throwing a holiday girls’ night, or planning a Christmas cookie exchange, this creamy punch is such a fun addition to your cocktail menu.

And because this is a batched recipe, you won’t be stuck behind the bar mixing individual drinks all night!

A Little Peppermint With Cozy Chai Spice

What makes this cocktail a little different from a traditional Christmas punch is the addition of chai latte.

I love using a prepared chai latte straight from the carton because it’s already creamy and has that delicious blend of cinnamon, cardamom, and warm spices.

When you combine those flavors with peppermint RumChata and Baileys, you get this wonderfully smooth, dessert-like cocktail that tastes like the holidays in a glass.

The peppermint gives it that Christmas flavor without needing extra peppermint syrup or schnapps.

I also like using whole milk to keep everything creamy without making the punch too heavy.

How to Make This Christmas Punch Extra Pretty

You know I love a cocktail that looks just as pretty as it tastes!

For Christmas, I would serve this punch in a large clear glass drink dispenser on a pretty holiday tray with a little Christmas greenery and warm white lights.

Because the punch has a beautiful creamy, light beige color, it looks especially pretty in clear cocktail glasses.

You can keep the presentation simple with a cinnamon stick in each glass or dress it up with a little whipped cream and a very light sprinkle of cinnamon.

For a more Christmas-inspired look, add a mini candy cane to the side of each glass.

You don’t need a ton of decorations to make this one look festive!

Can You Make Peppermint Vanilla Chai Punch Ahead of Time?

Absolutely! That’s actually one of my favorite things about this recipe.

You can mix everything together a few hours before your guests arrive and keep it refrigerated until you’re ready to serve.

Just make sure your chai latte is already chilled before adding it to the mixture.

Give everything another good stir right before serving because some of the creamy ingredients may settle slightly while refrigerated.

I also recommend keeping the ice out of the actual drink dispenser. Instead, fill individual glasses with ice and pour the punch over the top.

That way, your cocktail stays rich and creamy rather than becoming watered down.

Since this recipe contains dairy, make sure to keep it refrigerated when you’re not serving it.

Perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas Entertaining

Although I named this one North Pole Peppermint Vanilla Chai Punch, I would absolutely make it for Thanksgiving too!

The warm chai spices make it feel so cozy for fall, while the peppermint gives it that little hint of Christmas.

It’s the perfect cocktail to transition from Thanksgiving into the Christmas season.

You could even make a little holiday cocktail station with this punch alongside my White Chocolate Chai RumChata Punch for another delicious creamy option.

And if you’re serving appetizers or putting together a holiday spread, my Smoky Bacon Cheeseburger Dip is always a fun crowd-pleaser. For a cozy dinner before cocktails, try my Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken and Potatoes.

A Holiday Cocktail Everyone Will Want to Try

If you’re looking for an easy Christmas punch that’s creamy, festive, and perfect for serving a crowd, this North Pole Peppermint Vanilla Chai Punch is such a good one to save!

Between the delicious vanilla vodka, peppermint RumChata, Baileys, and cozy chai spices, it’s everything I love about a holiday dessert cocktail.

It’s easy to make, looks beautiful on a Christmas cocktail table, and lets you spend more time enjoying the holidays with everyone instead of mixing drinks all night.

I hope you add this one to your Thanksgiving or Christmas celebrations this year!

Cheers to the holiday season!

Servings

10-12

servings

Ingredients

  • North Pole Peppermint Vanilla Chai Punch
    Prep: 5 minutes
    Chill: 1–2 hours
    10–12 servings

2 cups vanilla vodka (Stoli Vanilla or another brand)

    2 cups Peppermint Bark RumChata

    1½ cups Baileys Irish Cream

4 cups chilled, prepared chai latte (from a carton)

1 cup whole milk or half-and-half

    Ice, for serving

Optional garnishes: Whipped cream, cinnamon sticks, a light sprinkle of cinnamon, or mini candy canes.

Directions

  • 1. Combine the alcohol. In a large pitcher or drink dispenser, pour in the vanilla vodka, Peppermint Bark RumChata, and Baileys Irish Cream.

    2. Add the chai latte. Pour in the chilled, prepared chai latte and stir everything together.
Make it creamy. Add the whole milk or half-and-half and gently stir until completely combined.
Refrigerate. Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours, or until thoroughly chilled.

    3. Stir before serving. Give everything another good stir before pouring, as some ingredients may settle.

    4. Serve over ice. Fill individual cocktail glasses with ice and pour the chilled punch over the top.
Garnish and enjoy! Add a cinnamon stick, a little whipped cream, or a mini candy cane if desired.

Recipe tip: Use whole milk for a slightly lighter cocktail or half-and-half for a richer, more dessert-like punch. Keep the punch refrigerated and serve it over ice rather than adding ice directly into the dispenser.

One little note: Since you’re using peppermint RumChata, I wouldn’t add extra peppermint flavoring. The chai already adds plenty of spice, and you want that delicious balance of peppermint, vanilla, and Baileys to shine through.
