What Is Sangria?
The classic Sangria is an alcoholic beverage originated in Spain and Portugal. It is essentially a red wine punch, often accompanied by fresh fruit flavors as well as other spirits. Red Sangria has become the staple of any sangria out there. It is the original and when using the word Sangria in any other form of a cocktail, many will argue this cannot be done. But as the years have evolved, many mixologists have had a lot of fun coming up with different sangria recipes using all different kinds of wine!
