White Christmas Cocktail with RumChata and Baileys

White Christmas Cocktail with RumChata and Baileys
There’s something about a creamy Christmas cocktail topped with a little “snow” that makes the holidays feel extra special! This White Christmas Cocktail combines vanilla vodka, RumChata, Baileys, and white chocolate liqueur for a sweet, creamy drink that’s perfect for sipping beside the Christmas tree.
I love a holiday drink that looks beautiful without needing a long list of ingredients or a complicated garnish. A few fresh cranberries, a rosemary sprig, and a light dusting of powdered sugar make this one feel ready for Christmas Eve, a holiday girls’ night, or a cozy evening wrapping presents.
If you love creamy holiday drinks, you’ll also want to try my Winter RumChata Margarita, Peppermint Cookies and Cream RumChata Punch, and Snowy Coconut Christmas Punch. They’re such pretty additions to a Christmas cocktail menu!
A Creamy Cocktail for a White Christmas
This is the kind of drink I love serving when I want something that feels a little like dessert. The vanilla vodka and white chocolate bring that sweet holiday flavor, while the RumChata adds a little cinnamon warmth. Baileys ties everything together with its creamy richness.
The finished drink is a soft ivory color that looks so pretty with a pop of red cranberry and fresh green rosemary. Add a little powdered sugar right before serving, and you have that freshly fallen snow look with hardly any effort.
Set it next to a plate of Christmas cookies, turn on the tree lights, and you have such a cozy little holiday moment!

My Tips for a Pretty Christmas Cocktail
Choose a glass with room for ice
Since you’re pouring the cocktail straight from the shaker with the ice included, use a roomy cocktail glass or stemmed goblet. Clear glassware shows off the creamy drink and festive garnish beautifully.
Keep the powdered sugar light
You only need a little dusting! A small fine-mesh sieve makes it easy to sprinkle the sugar gently over the drink and rosemary. It will dissolve into the cocktail, so save this finishing touch until you’re ready to serve.
Have your garnishes ready
When friends are coming over, I love having the little details ready ahead of time. Wash the cranberries, rinse and dry the rosemary, and set out your glasses before you start mixing. Then each cocktail comes together in just a couple of minutes.
When to Serve a White Christmas Cocktail
This White Christmas Cocktail would be such a fun addition to a Christmas Eve gathering, a holiday dinner with friends, or a festive girls’ night. Its sweet, creamy flavor also makes it a lovely after-dinner drink alongside Christmas cookies or a small dessert tray.
For a larger gathering, pair it with my North Pole White Chocolate RumChata Punch so guests have a festive pitcher option, too.
I love keeping the setup simple: pretty glasses, a little greenery, soft Christmas lights, and a drink that feels special all on its own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use another vanilla vodka?
Yes! Stoli Vanil works here, but you can use your favorite vanilla vodka in the same amount.
Is the white chocolate ingredient a liqueur?
This version uses white chocolate liqueur. White chocolate syrup is sweeter and thicker, so it won’t give exactly the same result when substituted ounce for ounce.
Do I strain out the ice?
For this recipe, pour everything from the shaker into your glass, including the ice. Then add a little fresh ice on top as needed.
Can I prepare it ahead of time?
This cocktail is best shaken with ice right before serving. You can measure your ingredients and prepare the garnishes beforehand, then shake and pour when you’re ready to enjoy it.
Do I need both cranberries and rosemary?
You can use either one or both! I love the combination because the red and green look so festive against the creamy cocktail.
