When it comes to Fall, Apple Cider is just a must have in any kind of drink. Especially when it comes to a Sangria. The white wine and apple cider just flow so well together, it’s hard to keep that part of it out of the recipe. In this specific Fall Apple Farm Sangria, the flavors of apple cider, white wine, vodka and maple syrup just mix so well together, it’s like Autumn in a glass!

When mixing up any kind of Sangria, you want to make sure you add in some fruit to really bring out all the flavors you are using up. For this specific recipe, I added in some Apples and pomegranate seeds. However, you really can add in almost anything you’d like. Grapes are a really great fruit to add to Sangria’s as well as peaches and oranges. Of course you want to keep to your specific flavors if you can, so when adding oranges I tend to like those in a Summery White Sangria. Blackberries, Blueberries and Raspberries as well as Blood Oranges are also a huge favorite to use in any Sangria recipe!

Another important tip when making a Fall Sangria, is to get a good Apple Cider. Sure you can buy any from the store and in retrospect, it will most likely be ok. However, I tend to buy from a local farm if possible. Those are always the most fresh and the best tasting in my opinion! This will just enhance your Sangria. The taste, the aroma and all that jazz will be top notch with a good quality Apple Cider!

Next of course is that wine! One of the most important parts. I love to usually use either a dry Pinot Grigio or a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The Sauvignon Blanc will give it a little bit more of that tartness and sweetness to it, and a Pinot Grigio will sit back and allow all the other flavors to dominate. It truly all depends on how you want the end game to be. The taste that everyone will love, that YOU will love! If you are completely unsure of which one to go with, then I suggest going with the Pinot Grigio. It will sit well and will help bring out those Fall festive flavors that everyone is looking for!
Main Ingredients You Will Need To Make This Sangria
- WHITE WINE – as stated above, make sure to choose a quality Pinot Grigio or New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
- APPLE CIDER – don’t be stingy in this area. Grab yourself a good quality Apple Cider to use in this batched cocktail
- VODKA – as always, make sure you use a good premium Vodka here. You WILL taste a bit of the vodka flavor, so if you go with a low quality brand, then this could completely ruin your drink. You don’t have to break the bank, but just don’t go for cheap!
- MAPLE SYRUP – Any maple syrup from your local grocery store will be just fine to use!
