Made with sweet limoncello, rich blackberry purée syrup, a splash of pomegranate juice, bubbly Prosecco, and sparkling water, this Christmas spritz has the most gorgeous deep berry-red color and the perfect combination of fruity, citrusy, and refreshing flavors.

And can we talk about how beautiful this would look served in a pretty wine glass with a little velvet bow tied around the stem?!

I love those little extra touches when entertaining, especially during Christmas. You don’t have to do anything complicated to make a cocktail feel extra special!

Whether you’re hosting Christmas Eve, throwing a holiday girls’ night, having friends over for a Christmas cocktail party, or just enjoying a cozy evening with the Christmas tree lit up, this is such a fun drink to make.

And if you love festive holiday cocktails as much as I do, you’ll also want to try my Mistletoe Spritz, Winter RumChata Margarita, and Snowy Coconut Christmas Punch. They’re all beautiful additions to your holiday entertaining menu!

The Prettiest Christmas Blackberry Spritz

There’s just something about a sparkling cocktail that makes any holiday celebration feel a little more festive.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love a creamy Christmas martini or a big batch of holiday punch, but sometimes I want something a little lighter, fruitier, and full of those gorgeous bubbles.

That’s exactly why I love this Blackberry Bells & Bows Spritz!

The blackberry purée syrup gives this drink a beautiful, rich berry flavor, while the pomegranate juice adds a slightly tart finish and helps create that gorgeous holiday color.

Then there’s the limoncello, which brings in just the right amount of sweet citrus flavor.

And once you add the chilled Prosecco and sparkling water, everything comes together into the most delicious, refreshing Christmas cocktail.

It’s sweet, a little tart, bubbly, and SO pretty!

Plus, you can make the entire drink right in your glass in just a few minutes.

Why You’ll Love This Blackberry Bells & Bows Spritz

There are so many reasons this might become one of your favorite Christmas cocktails!

It’s absolutely beautiful. The deep blackberry and pomegranate color looks gorgeous against Christmas greenery, gold accents, twinkling white lights, and festive glassware.

It’s incredibly easy to make. You only need five main ingredients, and there’s no complicated mixing or special cocktail equipment required.

It’s fruity and refreshing. The blackberry, pomegranate, and limoncello create a delicious balance of sweet and tart flavors without making the cocktail feel too heavy.

It’s perfect for entertaining. Whether you’re making a couple of cocktails or serving them as a signature drink at a Christmas party, they’re so simple to put together.

And of course, my favorite part is how much fun you can have decorating the glasses!

The Secret to This Delicious Blackberry Christmas Cocktail

One ingredient that really makes this spritz special is the blackberry purée syrup.

I love adding blackberry to holiday cocktails because it has such a rich, delicious berry flavor and gives drinks a beautiful deep red-purple color.

When you combine it with pomegranate juice, it creates a gorgeous jewel-toned cocktail that’s absolutely perfect for Christmas.

The limoncello adds a bright lemon flavor that balances out the richness of the berries, and the Prosecco gives it that beautiful sparkling finish.

I recommend using a chilled, dry Prosecco since the limoncello and blackberry syrup already add sweetness.

And if you prefer your cocktails a little lighter, you can add an extra splash of sparkling water.

It’s one of those simple combinations that tastes so delicious together!

How to Make This Christmas Spritz Extra Festive

Now, you know I love making my cocktails look just as pretty as they taste!

And this is where the Bells & Bows part comes in!

I love the idea of serving these spritz cocktails in beautiful stemmed wine glasses with little burgundy or brown velvet bows tied around the stems.

For the garnish, add a few fresh blackberries, a sprig of rosemary, and maybe a couple of fresh cranberries for that gorgeous Christmas color.

The rosemary looks like a little piece of Christmas greenery, and the dark berries make the cocktail look so elegant.

You could even place your finished cocktails on a tray with a little Christmas garland, gold bells, and twinkling white lights in the background.

It’s such a simple way to create a beautiful Christmas cocktail display without going overboard with decorations.

And honestly, these would look SO pretty in holiday photos!

Perfect for Christmas Eve, Holiday Parties, and Girls’ Night

I think this Blackberry Bells & Bows Spritz would be such a fun signature cocktail for Christmas entertaining.

Picture a cozy Christmas girls’ night with festive appetizers, Christmas music playing, candles lit, and a beautiful tray of these sparkling blackberry cocktails.

Or maybe you’re hosting Christmas Eve and want something guests can sip on before dinner.

This would also be perfect for a holiday brunch, Christmas cookie exchange, or a festive cocktail party with friends.

And if you’re planning a bigger celebration and want to offer guests a creamy cocktail alongside something light and fruity, my Snowy Coconut Christmas Punch would be a beautiful option.

I love the idea of serving a deep red blackberry spritz next to a snowy white holiday cocktail. The colors together are so Christmassy!

Tips for Making the Best Blackberry Limoncello Spritz

Chill your ingredients first. I definitely recommend having your Prosecco and sparkling water nice and cold before mixing. This keeps your drink crisp and refreshing.

Use a dry Prosecco. Since the blackberry purée syrup and limoncello are already sweet, a dry Prosecco helps balance everything out.

Adjust the sparkling water. I like using one to two ounces, depending on how strong or light I want the spritz to taste.

Don’t overmix. Once the Prosecco and sparkling water are added, give everything one gentle stir so you don’t lose those beautiful bubbles.

Add the garnishes last. Fresh blackberries, rosemary, and cranberries make the prettiest presentation when added right before serving.

Can You Make Blackberry Bells & Bows Spritz Ahead of Time?

You can definitely prepare some of the ingredients ahead of time, which makes holiday entertaining so much easier!

I recommend combining the limoncello, blackberry purée syrup, and pomegranate juice in a small pitcher and refrigerating until you’re ready to serve.

Then, when your guests arrive, all you need to do is pour the mixture over ice and add the chilled Prosecco and sparkling water.

Finish with your garnishes, and you’re ready to go!

I wouldn’t recommend adding the Prosecco too far in advance because you want to keep those beautiful bubbles.

And if you want to serve these as a Christmas signature cocktail, you can even prepare all your glasses with little bows ahead of time.

Such an easy way to make holiday hosting feel extra special!

A Beautiful Christmas Cocktail to Make All Season Long

I just love everything about this Blackberry Bells & Bows Spritz!

So grab your favorite wine glasses, tie on a pretty little Christmas bow, turn on the holiday music, and pour yourself a Blackberry Bells & Bows Spritz!
